American Restaurant & Sports Bar in Chicago's South Loop
Weather Mark Tavern is a family-owned American restaurant on South Michigan Avenue, serving house-made comfort food in a nautical-themed dining room for nearly 20 years. Come in for lunch, dinner, weekend brunch, or a game-day meal before heading to Soldier Field, just down the street. Everything from our "Anchors Away" fish fry to our char-grilled burgers is made in our own kitchen.

Lunch, Thursday & Friday
Stop in for lunch Thursday and Friday starting at 11 AM. Grab a burger, sliders, or fish tacos from our house-made menu. It's a quick bite before a Museum Campus visit or a relaxed meal with friends.
Happy Hour, Mon–Thu 4–6 PM
Monday through Thursday from 4 to 6 PM, enjoy specially priced drinks and appetizers. It's an easy after-work stop in the South Loop.

Weekend Brunch
Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 3 PM. Add bottomless mimosas for $25, gather the crew, and make a morning of it.

Welcome aboard! Weather Mark Tavern is a family-owned restaurant and sports bar in Chicago's South Loop, known for house-made food, strong and affordable drinks, and a crowd where you'll meet “your best friends you haven't met yet.” Locals, Museum Campus visitors, and fans headed to Soldier Field all find a seat at our table.
OUR MENU
Every dish is made in our kitchen with fresh ingredients. Regulars come back for the "Anchors Away" fish fry: cod battered with Cruzan Black Strap rum, and all you can eat every Friday. The menu also has char-grilled half-pound burgers served with steak fries or sweet potato fries, sliders, chicken wings, fish tacos, and baby back ribs. Pair your meal with a signature cocktail or a rotating craft beer.
Happy Hour & Weekend Brunch
Happy hour runs Monday through Thursday from 4 to 6 PM, with drink and appetizer specials that make us an easy after-work stop for South Loop neighbors and McCormick Place convention crowds. On weekends, brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 10 AM to 3 PM, with $25 bottomless mimosas.
Dockside Fan Favorites
We're a short walk from Soldier Field, so game day starts here. On home football game days we open at 9 AM, so you can eat, drink, and head to kickoff. Concert nights at Huntington Bank Pavilion and Museum Campus days at the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium, and Adler Planetarium are all close by too. Planning something bigger? We host private events and group parties in our South Loop restaurant and cater events across Chicago.
